From June 11 to 14, 2026, the employees from both ICU tech Switzerland and ICU tech Poland met in Poland for a special team-building event. We spent four days filled with encounters, sharing experiences, and a palpable sense of being one team.
One of the highlights was sailing in small groups. Out on the water, it quickly became clear: a boat only moves forward when everyone works together. Everyone takes responsibility; everyone trusts one another. With the wind in our sails, sailing became a powerful symbol of our shared course — only can we reach our goal.
While hiking through the impressive slightly hilly forest landscape of Kashubia, we could enjoy a small trip as a whole team. Step by step, conversations emerged, new ideas took shape, and a sense of unity grew even stronger.
A particularly inspiring moment was the visit to the Upside-Down House in Szymbark. May it serve as a reminder of how important new perspectives are. At ICU tech, too, we sometimes deliberately turn things upside down, question the status quo, and in doing so find new, better ways forward.
A visit to the historic city of Gdańsk rounded out our participative quality time. The city’s eventful history strikingly demonstrates what is possible when people unite and look to the future as one.
Many conversations, shared laughter, and unforgettable moments have further strengthened our camaraderie. This team event has shown once again: When we collaborate, trust one another, and forge new paths together, we can achieve great things.
